Most people surfing the Internet are looking for information. In other words, most people are not actively seeking to buy a product and nearly everyone expects to get the information for free.

Speaking specifically about the market place of people who are “interested” in having an online home business and/or generating income from the web, most of these people want to find good information about the subject first.

Therefore, by becoming a provider of trustworthy information about online home businesses, legitimate work at home opportunities and ways to generate income online, positions you as the source for what people are actually looking for in the first place.

Then, when people find your information and get engaged in the articles, they will naturally find the links that point to your sales page and visit them. Now, they have already been pre-sold and have more trust in the link to your sales page because they have already benefited by reading the free information provided in the article on your blog!

Also, blogs are the most search engine friendly Internet publishing tool in existence. This means that the pages of your blog can start being indexed by the search engines almost immediately and some of your blog content pages will start showing up in the free listings of the search engines when people search for various keywords. Therefore, adding quality content to your blog on a regular basis can generate free targeted traffic to your website potentially forever.

Publishing a blog allows you to instantly create new content-rich web pages. These new pages can be linked to from the home page of your current website and/or promoted separately. By creating additional content-rich website pages and promoting them from your home page or through other means, you will be accomplishing two important things:

1) You will provide more value for your website visitors. This increases the “stickiness” of your website making people stick around longer and ultimately trust you more. On the Internet, trust translates to profits!

2) Search engines love fresh content created through blogs. By publishing your own blog and adding fresh content to it on a regular basis, you will attract the attention of the major search engines who will list your website in their directories for free. As soon as you have pages of your blog in the search engines, you will start attracting free qualified traffic to your site without paying a dime for it. Imagine running a large and comprehensive Google Adwords campaign without paying anything for it. That is exactly what you can accomplish by publishing your own blog!

Anytime you have some news to share about your business, it is a great idea to use your autoresponder to let your subscribers know about it. You could even link your autoresponder to your blog, so that each time you post information on your blog your subscribers are notified by email. This type of active relationship building can make a huge impact on your business. The more you interact with your subscribers, the more they will trust you and want to do business with you!

It has never failed to amaze me that the big gurus continue to flash their Adsense and Affiliate income checks in our faces, yet never really reveal exactly what and how they earn these fat checks… even in their highly priced information products and courses.

They mostly always just scratch the surface; enough to wet our appetites but hardly enough to get us earning as much as they do.

What are those secrets they are holding close to their hearts, I wondered. Now I know.

I started blogging mainly because of the big promises of money to be made therein, especially the fact that Search Engines love blogs because of the fresh content and reader friendliness of blogs.

But after setting up a few blogs and practically killing myself with work to get them to earn me the fat checks the gurus told me about, I still wasn’t getting the fat checks.

I read and read many of the blogging materials out there but still couldn’t get my few blogs to earn the five figure monthly income that the big guru bloggers were earning.

Of course my blogs were about profitable topics that got high Adsense clicks and high paying affiliate payouts…

Of course I took my time to perform keyword research on the topics of the blogs to get words that people were searching for…

Of course I got great content for the blogs that were well written and keyword rich to interest my readers…

Of course I got links from other sites to the blogs and even got all the pages indexed so they ranked well for some of the key phrases…

Of course I did all that was necessary to succeed with these few blogs I had…

But there was something I didn’t do that the big gurus DO.

That was the reason why I was not earning as much from my blogs as the big guru bloggers out there.

I am sure YOU too are guilty of this.

Can’t wait to hear it?

Here it goes –

I had only a few blogs while the gurus that earn five figure income monthly from their blogs have hundreds and even thousands of blogs.

BINGO… that’s the secret they are closely hiding from you.

While we are spinning our wheels with one or a few blogs and earning just a few dollars here and there, the big gurus spin out hundreds and thousands of blogs using software (yes, whitehat software exists for legitimate blogging) to ease the blog creation process and the posting process.

If this doesn’t make sense to you, spare some minutes and think of it this way…

If one blog DOES make you a few dollars daily, won’t hundreds of blogs make you hundreds of dollars daily AND won’t thousands of blogs make you thousands of dollars daily?

This is really so simple. But I guess it’s too simply that most folks won’t get it - even after reading this.

Of course there are lots of work involved in creating and managing dozens of blogs, let alone hundreds or even thousands.

But there are now specially designed software (not blackhat software) that can help you achieve in mere minutes what would have taken you hours or even days to achieve.

So, if you want to earn like the big guru bloggers out there, start thinking of dozens, hundreds or even thousands of blogs.

And when you do your due diligence you will find great whitehat software out there to ease the process of creating and managing your multiple blogs for you painlessly and effortlessly.

Remember this, earning a five-figure monthly income mainly from blogging isn’t impossible. It is done by the gurus and even by ordinary bloggers who know this secret and apply it. Ah, yes– that last word is critical to your success — APPLICATION.

It isn’t enough to know what to do and have the right software to help out, you have to actually APPLY that knowledge to start earning fat checks from Adsense and Affiliate programs.

Finally, this article won’t be complete without showing you REAL evidence of at least one “ordinary-folk-turned-guru” who is REALLY earning five-figure+ monthly income from blogging.

Ever heard of Jason Calacanis? This “ordinary-folk-turned-guru” with his conglomeration of 85 blogs pulled in up to $1,000,000 (yes, one million US dollars) yearly until he sold them to AOL for a reported staggering $25 million.

Do you have a Blog for your Internet business? If not, have you considered setting up a Blog in the near future? Blogs are yet another tool you can use to market and promote your Internet business. You can have a Blog even if you don’t have an Internet website.

Blogs are relatively new technology to many Internet business owners. Following are a list of common questions associated with Blogs.

Blog Question #1: What is the purpose of submitting to Blogs before you have a website? The main purpose is to help establish your name on the Internet. In addition, search engines love Blog content. These search engines eat new content up like candy. Your Blog can supply the new content candy that these search engines have a craving for.

Writing a Blog also helps to establish a habit of consistently updating web content regarding you or your business. This habit puts new content on the Internet resulting in an increase in your Internet presence. The more work you put into your Blog, on a consistent basis, the more you will reap in rewards.

Blog Question #2: Is there a preferred Blogger site? This is a difficult question to give one answer to because it depends on your preferences, needs, and capabilities. So the answer is to find the Blogger site that makes sense to you and makes you feel the most comfortable.

Blog Question #3: What are the no-no’s of writing Blogs such as mentioning celebrity names, brand names, and/or friends? There aren’t really any established no-no’s. The content you post on your Blog is up to you as long as it is not libel or slander. However, you might want to ask or tell your friends that you are going to write about them.

Blog Question #4: Should I use real names in a Blog? If the person/people know that you are going to use their real name than it should be okay. Make sure to ask them before you post the information to your Blog.

Blog Question #5: How do you keep people from copying your Blog? It’s difficult to find out if people copy from your Blogs. So don’t waste time worrying about it.

Blog Question #6: Of my own Blogs, should I copyright Blogs that are similar in structure to articles and/or are my favorite Blogs? You can if you want to, but it can be a waste of time and not save you from somebody else copying it anyway. It is your call whether or not you want to take this extra step.

Blog Question #7: Should I sell my Blogs to a Blog website that will then own my Blogs? No, don’t give other sites rights to your Blog content.

Tip #1

Understand the industry you want to be paid to blog for.

Let’s assume you enjoy health and nutrition and have read up on this topic for years. In fact, you know many facts and “insider secrets” by heart and often share this information with friends, relatives, and strangers in your local health food store. That’s a topic you could easily be paid to write about. Because of your vast knowledge, the posts will come easy and when they don’t you’re magazine subscriptions will offer plenty of food for thought.

Tip #2

Never accept a non-compete contract.

As a blog writer, you will make your living writing for various blogs. A non-compete clause will prevent you from writing about the same topic on another blog and that’s not good for business.

As a health and nutrition specialist, you may write for a vegetarian blog, a holistic treatment blog, a vitamin company’s blog, and even a diet blog. There’s no competition there, right? And no “conflict of interest”, correct? The non-compete clause won’t even apply.

But what if you’re asked to write for another vegetarian blog? That’s when the non-compete clause kicks in and prevents you from earning a better living. Is there really a conflict of interest? Not if you don’t post the same information on both blogs. You can write for five different vegetarian blogs and still not show a conflict of interest. It’s all about choosing a different angle on the same idea and writing about it.

Tip #3

Never rely on revenue sharing as your sole source of income.

You’re job as a blog writer is to write about topics relevant to the blog’s theme and interact with commenters. Your job isn’t to market and advertise the blog. That’s the company’s job. If the company isn’t pulling its weight, the ad revenue will not exist and if the ad revenue doesn’t exist, neither does your salary. It’s best to be paid a flat fee, but if the company you truly want to work for only pays in ad revenue, negotiate a monthly stipend plus a percentage of the ad revenues.

If you’re going to get paid based on ad revenue or clicks, and you’re job is to also promote and market the blog, you should start your own blog. That way, you get to keep all the income you earn and don’t have to share the revenues with a company who isn’t doing anything to help promote the blog—aside from hosting (which you can get for as little as $7 a month and free if you stick to blog networks.)

Tip #4

Get paid in advance.

Negotiate a contract to get paid at the beginning of the month for that month’s blogging. That way, you will never be out money for a project you’ve completed. And remember, if the company can pay the web host, the electricity bill, the web designer, the internet provider, and so forth, the company can afford to pay you!

Tip #5

When writers’ block hits, to a search online.

Sometimes bloggers get what’s known as “writers’ block”. Writers’ block simply means you’ve run out of ideas to write about. It happens to the best of us, but it doesn’t have to hurt your career as a blogger for hire. When writers’ block occurs, get online and search for blogs, websites, and forums related to your blog’s topic. After a half hour to an hour of reading, you’ll have plenty of ideas to write about.

If your into internet marketing chances are you have a website or two, making you some money. You could increase your income dramatically by using niche blogs.

Many people have already discovered the power of using blogs to generate income online. They may use blogs to promote products as an affiliate, sell their own product, or monetize them with adsense.

If you want to create a decent income from using niche blogs you are going to need more than one or two sites. You will need to create your own little empire of niche blog sites. How would you go about achieving this?

It’s not as hard as you may think. There are many resources out there which are free and some you will have to pay for to start your own empire. However, creating an empire of niche blogs mainly consits of three elements.

1. First off you need a niche site. That is you need to find a niche and then build a site around it. There are almost an unlimited number of niches out there waiting to be expoilted.

2. Content. You need content for your site. Original content is always the best. If you don’t have original content there are other ways of getting some, outsourcing being one of them.

3. Promotion. You need people to visit your site. So you must start promoting your site which ever way you can. Through the search engines and pay per click advertising, other blogs, articles and any other means you can think of.

Once all the above is done and you have your first niche site up, just start over with another niche topic and repeat. Soon you will have your own empire of niche mini sites generating income for you month after month.
