Hi everyone. This is my first post in this category. This category will basically cover everything about Wordpress, including step by step tutorials, tips and tricks, hacks, news updates, and downloads. If you plan to start your own blog website, the best blog application to choose would be Wordpress. Wordpress is an Open Source blog tool, which offers a large set of blog features as well as a large number of users. The best feature of Wordpress is that it is “open source” - which means that you are allowed to view its source code and edit it to make it work exactly the way you want. If you don’t speak geek, it’s ok! The developers of Wordpress have created small pieces of code, called widgets and plugins - that do almost anything you can think of - that you can easily implement into your blog.

WordPress has an easy to use administration interface, which anyone can handle, whether you are a beginner or a webmaster. In WordPress you will be able to compose a post, or article, and publish it on your website in seconds. With WordPress you can easily customize the look and feel of your website for there are lots of free WordPress themes available on the internet.

Keep in mind that there are two types though, Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org.
